Firecracker Tote Bag

Instasize_0630095604Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you’ve all had an amazing week!

Typically I like to post twice a week, but among decluttering and life, I didn’t get to! Anyway, I’ve been working on an awesome new pattern that I will be posting for sale on my Ravelry store soon! YAY!

I have a few patterns I have been working on, but with Independence Day around the corner I decided it would be the perfect time to release a pattern for a perfect and super simple little shoulder tote!

I love this bag because it is a perfect first ‘big’ project for crochet beginners,  can easily be adjusted to be larger or smaller, and it is easily color-customizable. As for my colors, I was clearly inspired by a Firecracker Popsicle, which were my absolute favorite as a child!

The Firecracker Tote Bag pattern is now available on Ravelry . I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July weekend!!!

Your New Favorite Summer Hair Accessory!

Instasize_0619171305HAPPY THURSDAY!

I meant to have this post up as soon as I published my crochet pattern but… life. Anywho, my new pattern is officially up on Ravelry! Woohoo!

I decided to design a very simple pattern for a hair kerchief! These have always been one of my favorite hair accessories and ever since I learned how to make one, I haven’t been able to stop! They literally take no time and can be made using virtually any crochet stitch, as long as you know how to work it into a triangle!

For my pattern, I decided to use a very simple half granny square, which is insanely workable, takes no time and basically increases itself without you even noticing! It is the perfect pattern for beginners to advanced and everyone in between!

Anywho, I hope you guys enjoy this pattern as it is near and dear to me <3. (Pattern link is below!)

Have an awesome rest of your week!

The Evolution of Crafty Victoria

Welcome to my new blog!

I am so excited to share with you all everything that has been going on with Crafty Victoria and everything that will happen in the future!

Life has been getting better by the minute and I have been more inspired than ever to charge forward with what I want Crafty Victoria to become.

For a long time, I was just crocheting or knitting things per request and selling them, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But, that gets tiring after a while.

Having that kind of pressure on you can be daunting and just plain old exhausting. So, I took a LONG  break. And now I’m back.

After much thinking and planning and partnership, I’ve decided that I want to make what I want to make. And I want it to be vintage-inspired. I want to create patterns and share them with my fellow crochet creators. And I want it to be JUST crochet.

Why vintage? Because my great-grandma crocheted, and I want her art and creativity to live on.

And so, Crafty Victoria Crochet was born. Vintage crochet with a modern twist.

My next post will be a FREE pattern for an adorable summer hairkerchief!

Until next time!
